Dance of Death, 2022
This solo exhibition combines a walking simulator game and paintings to imagine what might happen after death. In the game, players travel through a fictional world with no fixed timeline and can explore it freely.
The paintings use bright, clashing colors and cartoon-like characters that appear both good and bad. I am interested in the tension between playful visuals and darker themes.
Fragments of memory—some drawn from childhood experiences—are inserted into the game and paintings, forming a loose narrative that moves between personal memory and imagined worlds.
