TempleF(air) 2025 / collaboration with IWANNABANGKOK , Selected work / Shooting Game 3 mins. , painting , installation
Warehouse, Talad noi , Bangkok, Thailand
“TEMPLE FAIR” is a fantastical reimagining of the traditional Thai temple fair, where nostalgia, myth, and chaos converge inside a digitally constructed dreamscape. The piece unfolds across a hybrid terrain of painting, 3D animation, and interactive game environments transforming the digital space itself into a dynamic storytelling platform.
Here, the digital realm is not just a medium it is the narrative engine. Through immersive play and visual exploration, viewers traverse an eerie amusement park governed by surreal logic and cryptic symbolism. Players encounter floating rides, haunted booths, and strange cute creatures that double as avatars of forgotten truths.
At the core lurks the bear-faced spider, a deceptively adorable hybrid that spins the web beneath a digital likay theatre stage. It controls the rhythm of the fair, the logic of the prophecy, and the encrypted layers buried in code, memory, and visual mythology. By engaging with the environment interpreting clues, navigating space, and unlocking secrets the audience participates in an evolving tale that blurs art, myth, and technology.
"Long Dream" Oil Painting 200x170 cm.
This oil painting "Long Dream" belongs to the evolving universe of “TempleF(air)”, capturing a surreal scene where children, hybrid animals, and fragmented Thai fairground relics float in a timeless, placeless void. Executed entirely in oil on canvas, the work evokes a sense of slow-burning emotion and deep atmospheric tension. This painting serves not only as a narrative artifact but as a materialized pause, a still frame that absorbs the kinetic energy of gameplay and reinterprets it through tactile slowness. It becomes a bridge between real and virtual, memory and myth, motion and stillness.
